Revolteur was born out of a collaboration of two minds melding in partnership after many years of doing business as supplier and customer.  What was supposed to be a one-off business transaction between Lesley de Coteau and Ryan Elcock grew into a friendship and strong business relationship for over ten years.  This binding friendship and knowledge of one another’s strengths thus formed the foundation to pool their collective knowledge and strengths in this endeavor.

Lesley de Coteau is a veteran in the garment industry with over twenty years of experience in cut and sew, embroidery , printing, production and graphics. Furthermore, she has also developed working relationships with many companies looking to promote their brands into the community via the use of promotional items and garments.

Meanwhile, Ryan Elcock brings a wealth of experience from his initial foray into launching his own clothing line, where he first met and worked with Lesley, to managing and launching several business operations in a variety of industries.

Because both partners bring unique skillsets to the table, Revolteur will not be the regular run of the mill clothing company.  Revolteur will run the gambit and dare to truly be different, but not pretentious.  Revolteur will keep it simple and will always be premium.  After all true revolt comes from being true to one’s self!

Part of the Revolteur mandate is to be a company that is ethical in its conduct, but socially responsible. That’s why we have chosen to create a t-shirt that encompasses what we believe to be ongoing issues. #HVBR – Homophobia, Violence, Bullying, Racism. It’s difficult as an adult to deal with anyone one of these issues, farless a child or young adult that hasn’t  developed the tools or know how to deal with these problems. So Revolteur Clothing has decided that with every #HVBR t-shirt sold $5.00/shirt will be donated to a variety of organizations, that are specific to these issues.
